The Red Rover Mine

eMetallurgy and Red Rover Mining, Inc. have formed a joint venture to process previously extracted ore and waste rock from the Red Rover Mine. This mine is a significant gold-bearing formation consisting of very large, intrusive quartz veins (one is seen in the photo at right) in a mafic-dioritic and granodioritic, plutonic formation located in a shear zone near the San Andreas fault.
Several hundred thousand tons of material are accessible at the site, and additional precious and strategic metals co-occur in the formation.
